About Icaros

Icaros Festival was born of a dream shared by two friends wishing to bring closer together the medicine music family in Portugal.

A longing shared by many and brought into beautiful manifestation by Angelo and Tomas.

In an enchanted garden that has been anchoring prayer, play and practice, alongside dream, vision and togetherness.

Slowly, consistently, coherently evolving into ever more graceful and harmonious manifestation.

So is the seed of Icaros, in resonance with the greater story of transformation these times are calling forth.

Icaros is a gentle nest for celebrating beingness, for soul nurturing, for holding each other in ever more truthful and respectful relationships within the web of life.


For honoring the deeper stories that run through us, and are ignited brighter through sacred song and ritual, through movement, art and word, rooted in true intentions for the benefit of all.

Icaros happens in Portugal, converging a magical amalgam of elders and indigenous wisdom carriers from different cultures, together with many beautiful humans walking the path in these lands with integrity, remembering, practicing, expressing and facilitating how to be in better relationship with Mother Earth, with ourselves and each other, with all existences.

At Icaros, we come together to sync, to honor, to update and upgrade where and who we are on this life’s sacred journey, individually and collectively, as family.

Each year, just before Icaros, these lands have been hosting the Pequeno Buda Mini Festival, a magical intimate gathering for families and Future Guardians of Mother Earth.

It is from that groundbase activation of natural wisdom and future ancestry, of elevated play and creative togetherness that Icaros sprouts and grows each year.

Also, how Mandala Farm is nurtured everyday, as an acupuncture point, connected to many others across our planet, trying to sustain the Living Earth frequencies, to co-create the New Earth codes.

In this third edition, we are invited to anchor our ever deeper commitment to Guardianship of Life and Love, amplified by the portal energies of the 2025 summer solstice!
