ICAROS FESTIVAL Terms & Conditions of Sale & Participation Organized by Mandala Sonora, Lda.

These Terms & Conditions govern ticket purchases and participation in Icaros Festival. By purchasing a ticket or entering the venue, every participant agrees to comply with these terms, all safety instructions, and applicable Portuguese law.

1. Organizer
Mandala Sonora, Lda. is the organizer and reserves the right to manage, modify or cancel any aspect of the event when necessary.

2. Tickets
Tickets are personal, valid only through official channels, and may require identification. Fraudulent or duplicated tickets are void.

3. Refunds
Tickets are non-refundable except where required by Portuguese law or expressly stated by the organizer.

4. Programme
Artists, facilitators, workshops, schedules and venues may change without creating a right to compensation.

5. Entry
Security may refuse entry to anyone posing a safety risk or refusing inspections.

6. Wristbands
Lost, removed or damaged wristbands are invalid.

7. Code of Conduct
Respect all participants. Harassment, violence, discrimination, intimidation, theft or vandalism will result in immediate removal.

8. Alcohol & Drugs
Illegal substances are prohibited. Dangerous intoxication may lead to removal.

9. Fire Safety
No candles, BBQs, charcoal, fireworks or gas stoves are permitted.

10. Natural Environment
Participants acknowledge the risks associated with forests, uneven terrain, lakes, wildlife and weather.

11. Water Safety
Swimming is only allowed in designated areas. Diving, swimming outside marked zones or ignoring lifeguard instructions is prohibited.

12. Children
Parents and guardians are fully responsible for minors at all times.

13. Camping
Camp only in designated areas. Respect quiet hours and neighbours. Leave no trace.

14. Caravans
Vehicles must remain in assigned areas. Engines and generators may be restricted.

15. Animals
Only certified assistance dogs are permitted.

16. Sustainability
Protect nature, conserve water, separate waste and avoid damaging trees or habitats.

17. Photography
Commercial filming and drones require written permission.

18. Image Rights
Participants authorize the organizer to use photographs and recordings for promotional purposes without compensation.

19. Medical Care
Medical services are available for emergencies only. Participants remain responsible for personal medical conditions and medications.

20. Personal Property
Mandala Sonora, Lda. accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged personal belongings.

21. Vendors
Only approved vendors may operate within the venue.

22. Accessibility
The organizer will make reasonable efforts to improve accessibility, although the natural environment may present limitations.

23. Privacy
Personal data is processed in accordance with the GDPR and applicable Portuguese legislation for ticketing, communication and legal obligations.

24. Liability
Participants accept the inherent risks of attending an outdoor festival and release the organizer from liability except where prohibited by law.

25. Force Majeure
The organizer is not responsible for cancellation or interruption due to wildfire risk, severe weather, pandemics, government orders or other events beyond reasonable control.

26. Intellectual Property
Festival names, logos and content remain the property of Mandala Sonora, Lda. and may not be used without permission.

27. Applicable Law
These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. The competent Portuguese courts shall have jurisdiction where legally applicable.

28. Final Provisions
The organizer may update these Terms. The latest version published on official channels shall apply.

Health & Safety
Notice Protect yourself from excessive sun exposure, remain hydrated, use hearing protection during loud concerts, and immediately report emergencies to festival staff.
